Apple’s new Newsstand service will boost digital magazine sales
Apple’s recently launched Newsstand service has given publishers a massive incentive to get their publications on the iPad. The new service, which launched on October 12th, affords newspapers and magazines a higher profile, dedicated space within iTunes.
Since the release, significant sales increases have been documented by publishers. Conde Nast have reported a huge 268% increase in digital magazine sales since the Newsstand went live.
