The World’s fastest digital linescan sensor just got faster!
Unprecedented sensitivity and dynamic range
DRAGSTER - not only the fastest but also the easiest to integrate and the most complete digital line scan sensor family.
From 2k- 16k pixels, 12 bit digital, low noise up to 200kHz max line rate, monochrome and color or TDI available.
Matrix Vision will showcase its mvBlueLynx-X with new sensors and Power over Ethernet (PoE). The camera has an extended sensor range:
besides CMOS sensors, CCD sensors from VGA to UXGA are also available in the portfolio. The camera is one of the few smart cameras worldwide that offers such a range of sensors. Furthermore, the mvBlueLynx-X can be
ordered with a PoE option. With this option, it is possible to power the camera via Ethernet cable, without an additional power supply. In addition, all image processing libraries available for Linux are supported by the camera. This includes, for example, the Halcon Embedded library, which can be used as a third-party vision engine on the model.

Matrox Imaging will announce its first CoaXPress (CXP) frame grabber, the Radient eV-CXP. This high-performance frame grabber offers four CXP-6 (6.25Gb/s) links, capable of
acquiring up to 25Gb/s of image data from one or multiple cameras. Visitors to the booth will see the Matrox Supersight imaging computer with multiple clusters – comprised of multicore CPUs and GPUs – identifying print defects. In addition, the Matrox Iris GT smart camera with Design Assistant software will perform colour-based carton identification and inspection, plus date code reading. Visitors to the interactive demo station will also have an opportunity to work with the 5 Megapixel version of the Iris GT.

Microscan, a global technology leader in barcode, machine vision and lighting solutions, will demonstrate the AutoVision suite of machine vision products. The AutoVision suite, entered in this year’s Vision Award, consists of Microscan’s AutoVision machine vision software, and the Vision Mini and Vision Hawk smart cameras. The software provides intuitive step-by-step guidance for selecting cameras, delivering an image, selecting tools, and monitoring a running application. Thanks to the solution, companies can now, for example, implement verification and quality checks by incorporating optical character recognition (OCR) on human- readable text to increase efficiency in a wide range of applications.
MVTec Software, which celebrates its 15-year anniversary this year, will showcase new ideas around the globally successful standard software for machine vision Halcon. With the current maintenance release, Halcon
10 provides some improvements. Highlights are additional GPU acceleration, support for more operators, faster photometric stereo, significant speedup of Fourier transform operators, new file formats for 3D object models, and documentation updates. To demonstrate how Halcon works, MVTec will showcase numerous examples at the show, including an industrial robot performing bin picking via surface-based 3D matching, and a tablet PC turned into a Halcon-based service guide for pose detection of electric components. MVTec’s customers benefit from a distribution and support network in more than 40 countries, as well as from partner programmes founded by MVTec. MVTec has launched the Image Acquisition Partner Programme, together with leading manufacturers of image acquisition devices such as cameras and frame grabbers. It has also founded the Certified Integration Partner Programme, which marks system integrators worldwide for their competence in building solutions based on MVTec software.
