Edmund Optics will be exhibiting its compact telecentric lenses featuring ultra compact design, large maximum sensor formats, and a variety of working distance/magnification options. The lenses are
perfect for volume inspection applications from single unit inspection stations to high volume implementation. The lenses provide excellent telecentricity, low distortion, as well as a fixed aperture and focus. They are ideal for integration into factory floors and assembly lines. In-line illumination versions are available for maximum versatility, through the inclusion of a coaxial port. This allows light to be introduced through the optical lens path and is ideal for the imaging of reflective components, such as electronic circuitry and solder joint inspection.
Compatible with most 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch
fibre light guides, as well as a number of LED spot lights, the flexible design helps integrate the lenses in a multitude of applications. The lenses are in stock and available for immediate delivery with quantity discounts available.

Hamamatsu Photonics will introduce the new and innovative Orca-Flash2.8 and the Orca-D2 cameras. The Orca-Flash2.8 is designed for low-light imaging at high frame rates and combines high- resolution, high-sensitivity, high-speed and low-noise, with an excellent price/performance level. The Orca-Flash2.8 incorporates a 2.8 Megapixel Scientific CMOS sensor and is ideal for a wide variety of applications such as life-science microscopy, industrial imaging and sensitive analytical measurement. The Orca-D2 is a high-sensitivity camera for simultaneous dual wavelength imaging, which features two CCD devices and interchangeable optical blocks. It offers exceptional ease of use with optical setup steps such as image alignment and focusing. The Orca-D2 also
Camera Link specifications in terms of speed and/or cable length. Depending on the clock frequency and the quality of the cable, which can vary from one cable to another, ECCO allows the new Grablink boards to operate with 30 per cent longer cables compared to those specified by the Camera Link standard. This additional 30 per cent cable length between the camera and the PC is available with the Grablink Full, DualBase and Base at no additional cost. Euresys will also display a new series of frame grabbers, Grablink Full, DualBase and Base, compatible with PoCL Lite cameras. These Euresys Grablink boards feature a mini-Camera Link connector, which is electrically compatible with the PoCL Lite standard. A simple adaptor cable is used to make the connection to any PoCL Lite camera.

IDS Imaging Development Systems will present a small USB 3.0 industrial camera. At just 29 x 29 x 29mm,
the camera is not only ultra-compact but also weighs less than 45g due to its magnesium housing. Additionally, the camera boasts a range of features and characteristics. The data transfer rate of up to 400MB/s, in contrast to USB 2.0 (40MB/s) or GigE (114MB/s), make this camera suitable for a wide range of data-rich applications, particularly multi-camera systems. As always, the proven IDS software package for Windows and Linux supports the USB 3.0 camera.

JAI will display a broad range of new industrial CCD and CMOS cameras with Camera Link and GigE Vision interfaces.
On show will be the LT-200CL, a new prism- based colour line scan camera featuring 3 x 2,048 pixels CMOS sensors, capable of running at scan rates of up to 30,383 lines per second. Two 8 Megapixel industrial grade quad-tap cameras, AM-800CL (monochrome) and AB- 800CL (colour), will be displayed, combining high-resolution, high-fidelity, and high-frame rates at full 3,296 x 2,472 resolutions and 17fps. Also new in the quad-tap camera family are the AM-201CL (monochrome) and the AB- 201CL (colour), featuring 2 Megapixel HDTV resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) at 64fps, and the AM-200CL (monochrome) and the AB- 200CL (colour), offering a standard 4:3 aspect ratio (1,600 x 1,200 pixels) at 68fps. JAI will also feature the MT-200GE Medical, a new generation of 3-CCD prism-based digital progressive scan cameras, dedicated to the medical and life sciences field.

Components will showcase its broad range of Flexpoint MV lasers tailored for machine vision
applications. In particular, the company’s MV micro-series is the laser module of choice for standalone vision applications. Both focus and line uniformity are easily adjustable without having to take the module apart. At an output power of up to 10mW, it is a universal tool for industrial inspection and 3D triangulation applications.
provides a wide field of view during dual wavelength imaging and is suitable for a wide variety of fluorescence microscopy applications including ratio imaging, FRET and dual wavelength TIRF.

Also on display will be the M12 series, a laser module primarily targeting industrial vision applications. It is suitable for rigorous use under harsh conditions and, thanks to its stainless steel housing with M12 thread, integrates easily into existing systems. All laser modules are available at different wavelengths, power levels, and beam shapes such as dot, line, and cross hair profiles. Further options include digital or analogue modulation via a potentiometer or a control wire. The company also builds custom modules according to the user’s specifications.
