GO, GO, GO!!!
The Business Travel Magazine’s inaugural Go-karting Grand Prix took place at London's TeamSport Tower Bridge in October.
Twenty teams of four racers lined up on the starting grid for an evening of speed, spills and thrills in The Business Travel Magazine's first ever go-karting competition. After getting to grips with the eco-friendly electric karts, the drivers took part in qualifying laps before lining up to earn points for their team in a series of races. After some very close finishes – and several 'coming-togethers' – the winners on the evening were the team from American Express, with GetThere and Giles Travel joining them on the podium in second and third places respectively. The evening was generously sponsored by GetThere and Heathrow Express, while the Business Travel Show kept everyone well lubricated in the bar.
