Welcome to the Royal Academy of Dance. We aim to provide a variety of classes of the highest quality, taught by experienced professionals who share their knowledge and expertise in a relaxed and positive environment. All classes, held in purpose- built studios, are designed to give students of any age the opportunity to develop and achieve in their chosen dance genre.

Based at the Royal Academy of Dance headquarters in Battersea, SouthWest London, the Dance School offers a wide variety of dance classes for young people and adults. Programmes include RAD Graded syllabus, non-syllabus ballet classes, Boys Ballet, Contemporary and Creative dance and Street dance for both males and females. The Dance School also offers GCSE and GCE A Level Dance courses for students wishing to study in a dedicated and dynamic environment. All classes are taught by highly respected and experienced teachers and take place in seven purpose-built studios with changing facilities on site.


All students are welcome to apply for a place in the Dance School.We can provide additional training for students already attending a local school or enable them to build up a complete timetable of classes including both Graded examination and non-syllabus dance lessons.Many students go on to audition successfully for full time vocational colleges and ballet schools, enrol on degree programmes and gain teaching qualifications. If you are enthusiastic about dance, in whichever form, the RAD Dance School has something to offer you.
