The force behind the attractions When the attractions industry comes together, there’s no stopping the momentum

IAAPA Attractions Expo 2011 takes place at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida, US, from November 15-18, with a comprehensive five-day conference programme beginning on November 14. As the largest attractions industry event in the world,

IAAPA Attractions Expo brings together some of the brightest minds and most well-respected leaders in the business. It is where investment decisions are made, trends emerge and valuable professional relationships are established. With more than 1,100 exhibiting companies showcasing their most innovative products and services, attendees will have innumerable chances to seek advice, share thoughts and take home new ideas. The week-long education conference with more than

80 seminars, lunches and roundtables will feature C-level speakers from SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, Herschend Family Entertainment, Science Centre Singapore and more. These world-renowned experts will lead discussions that address the current state of the attractions industry, provide peer-to- peer learning and spur ideas for the future. Hot topics include the new US Americans with Disabilities Act recreation rules; travel trends based on the 2010 US Census; new attraction development and expansion around the world; building and maintaining a strong brand identity; and making use of new technologies. The conference will culminate on the Friday with an intensive half-day symposium on mobile marketing, communications and technology. “IAAPA Attractions Expo 2011 delivers fantastic learning

opportunities for all types of attractions, and operational areas,” said Doug Stagner, IAAPA education committee chair. “The knowledge gained is invaluable and practical enough to be implemented immediately. Professionals in the attractions industry will hear about current trends and best practices from respected industry leaders and experts.” Visit www.IAAPA.org/IAAPAAttractionsExpo to see a

full, detailed schedule of educational opportunities and events, as well as exhibitor information and resources for international attendees.
