ones who are in daily contact with our guests so we have to respect the job they are doing. We are careful to explain how important their job is and to respect them, which they appreciate. We have a very visual way of doing this too, in that when needed, we work with them and help them and put their job in a perspective that they understand how important it is. Each night all employees see how their team has performed via feedback we have received.
IP: How will Djurs Sommerland develop in the future? HN: We will keep investing in the park; it’s a key factor to be successful in this business. We will also try to continue to give higher guest value, something we already do. Maybe doing accommodation at Djurs Sommerland is a consideration in the future, but for now our focus is on making guest value better and better.
IP: Your park has been operating for many years. What would you say is the secret to its on-going success and popularity? HN: Continuing to focus on the detail and every day to look at how we can improve guest value. The small things are just as important as the larger things throughout the whole organisation.
