Planning Your Bathroom
Planning your bathroom layout is essential to make sure that it works in a way that suits your lifestyle. Firstly, think about you and your family and consider what is necessary to answer all your needs.
Take a look at your existing bathroom layout and consider what you like about it and what you would like to change.
• Measure your room: When it comes to measuring, accuracy is all important. If you are at all unsure, we will happily pop round and help you get the dimensions exactly right.
• Think about the basic layout: The plumbing will already be in place, but is the bath, basin and toilet where you would ideally like it to be. If you want to move them, ensure you allow enough room – please refer to our ‘Good Idea Leaflet 122’ online.
• Have you ever considered: A Walk In Shower or Wet Room? It takes up about the same space as a bath and is very easy to fit.
• When you are ready: Draw a simple drawing, including wastes and plumbing, and bring it to your local Wickes store... It’s now time to enlist the aid of a Design Consultant – they’re always on hand to help make your dream bathroom a reality!
