Diamond Brand Does Disc Golf

Disc Golf is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States, because it provides fun and excitement for all ages. Disc golf can be played individually or with a group of friends and has no time restrictions. It is a fun and relaxing way of exercising or walking your dog. Whether you have 30 minutes or three hours, there is time for a round of disc golf. Asheville is renowned for its disc golf courses with several in the area that are nationally ranked. In

total there are eight courses conveniently located within a half hour of the Asheville area. Players can be challenged by the wooded areas of the Black Mountain DGC or air it out at the Crookston DGC. All the courses are either 9 or 18 holes and range from recreational to professional levels. Disc golf is increasing in popularity due to its ease of learning and accessibility. Competition varies from

recreational players looking to get out and enjoy the scenery all the way to professional players in national competitions. There is a level for everyone, and it’s based on you, the player. Requirements for playing are minimal. All you need is a set of discs and the desire to play. There are a

variety of discs, including a long driver, mid-range, and putters to help your game. Each disc is tailored with different specifications, made to match your throwing style and the type of hole. The cost of disc golf is very inexpensive and varies on the level of competition you desire. Beginners

require no equipment except for a set of discs generally including a driver, mid-range, and putter. As players move up the ladder they can increase their disc collection to include discs for specific throws and holes, as well as additional accessories including disc bags and place markers. Disc prices vary from $8 to $18 each and are virtually indestructible. Diamond Brand Outdoors is your one-stop shop for anything disc golf related. We carry a variety of discs

ranging from putters to distance drivers. We also have an expert staff to help with all your disc golf needs and questions.
