Hirsz, previously of Gold Medal, who will head up business development on a number of projects, including plans for a new standalone luxury product. A long-term sales strategy will focus
on developing new business channels, increasing the sales team, launching new brands including cruise and cars, and furthering its online product offering. A new telephone account
management scheme will help agents in far-to-reach places, particularly homeworkers, while the operator will also launch a new training academy. “Support for travel agents always has
been and always will be the main priority for Travel 2," said McCreadie. "Now, more than ever, we want our agents to feel fully supported and know that we have a great deal of initiatives and exciting launches planned, to celebrate our 30th birthday, and to make their jobs easier. This includes the new annual FAM trip plan roll-out this month plus our annual Agent Awards.”
