Editor’s note AAA—yours and mine

After the EnCompass team completes each edition of the magazine, we gather for lunch at a nearby Beau Jo’s Pizza to talk about how we did and what we can do better next time. We go to Beau Jo’s Pizza because we

love the pizza (I especially like their Mountain Pie with Italian sausage), but we also love discounts. Beau Jo’s is a Show Your Card and Save partner of AAA Colorado. So when we eat there, we get a 20 percent discount. That discount helps whoever’s pick-

ing up the bill. And the lunch reminds us how valuable our AAA member- ships can be. There’s other restaurants we could

visit and get the discount—Hard Rock Café, Salt Grass Steakhouse, Landry’s Seafood House. If we wanted to see a movie together,

we could buy discounted tickets at district offi ces for showings at Regal/ United Artists theaters. If we needed an oil change along the way, we could get discounted services at Grease Monkey, or buy our own discounted oil at NAPA. If we wanted to ship copies of the latest magazine to all our proud relatives, we could stop by a UPS Store for another discount. For a complete list of savings part-

ners (and it’s a looong list), see the Discount Pocket Guide between pages 18 and 19, or log on to www.AAA. com/discounts. The goal of the Show Your Card

and Save program is to have every AAA member receive discount savings that total more than their annual membership dues. To learn more about these and many

other benefi ts of being a AAA member, keep on eye on yourAAA, a new section of the magazine. You’ll fi nd it on page 40 of this edition. Whenever AAA offers a new service
