Both machines have JCB’s own turbo charged and intercooled Dieselmax 444 Tier 3 powerplant renowned for power output, economy, low noise levels and durability.


The TM310S S 4-cylinder, 4.4-litre engine produces 145hp and TM310 output is 130hp. Respective max torque figures at 1,500rpm are 550/532Nm. Both have fuel capacity of 160 litres.


Other upgrades include a stacked cooling pack, a new wider one-piece bonnet and overall width of 2.3m.


new 6-speed transmission


Both TM 310 and TM 310S offer 6 speeds and a top travel rate of 40km/hr.


The transmission has three modes - • Power for laden trailer haulage • Field for faster in-field movement • Eco for road without a load.


Additionally, a kick-down button on the shuttle allows the driver to shift down/up one speed in the first three gears for work such as silage clamping. The shuttle can be operated from the main joystick or a column-mounted shuttle.

Hydraulic output comes from a new single piston pump delivering on-flow-demand up to 140 litres/min, max pressure 230 bar.


JCB has also revised the boom’s front-end geometry giving greater tear-out force. Smooth Ride boom suspension is now standard on both models.
