Salutes & Salutations God Bless

I wish to express my gratitude and thankfulness for the compassion you shared during our EXODUS event December 2009. Your donation to our Military Welcome Center at the Will Rogers World Airport allowed us to provide food, beverages & supplies for the event. Your additional gifts to the Drill Sergeants was a blessing as well. This gave each of them the privilege to enjoy the little extra pleasures while away from their families for the 4 day event. Thank you again for your generous & kind donation. You have made a diff erence. God Bless our Veterans & all our American Soldiers. Carol Farmer

I believe that military personnel should be treated with the same respect from the community regardless of when they served. And, since military service also aff ects the family members of those who serve our country they should be honored and respected by the community as well. With this in mind, Steve Motsinger (a fellow Gulf War

veteran) and myself began to work on a concept to unite this large group of loyal Americans under one umbrella with the intent to provide quality aff ordable services, charitable help for those with needs in the veteran family regardless of when they served, a way for businesses and people to recognize and honor their military service, and off er an organized setting under which people can be honored and people can show appreciation for those that have served our country as well as their family members. As you read this magazine, I hope that you fi nd the articles informative, entertaining, respectful, and moving. What you will not fi nd are political stances being taken, complaints, or controversial issues that do not honor those that have served our country. If you appreciate what we stand for, I would encourage you to be a part of this honorable organization as either a veteran,

hen I returned from the Gulf War in March of 1991 I was living in Santa Monica, California. Upon my return, the country as a whole was very proud of those of us who had served in the war. I really appreciated the fanfare and
