IF you know underground house music, then you know Phil Weeks. Combining the French love of fi ltered funk and disco with the raw Chicago bump of DJs such as Derrick Carter, earlier this year he released his sophomore album ‘Love Affair’. Hot on the heels of that come compilation ‘Underground Chronicles’ (out 22nd August) which anticipates the 100th release of Robsoul, Phil’s label. Packed full of killers from US masters such as Mark Farina


and Gemini, alongside newer European talents including DJ W!LD, it packs 30 tracks into its three CDSs. His July chart likewise includes Robsoul and Chicago classics alongside some of Phil’s more recent remixes and releases.
