OUR TRACk RECORD

Zayed national Museum, Abu Dhabi The Zayed National museum has structures soaring 124m into the sky. The WSP/Foster + Partners joint venture led the engineering design of this iconic development. Our geotechnical experts managed investigations, designed ground improvement measures, piled foundations and stabilisation measures for earth mounds with 20m high slopes.

First in europe, liverpool We recently completed the first environmental liability transfer in Europe. Our work at the former site of an imaging chemicals production company in the Uk cut costs by 45%.

new York State Cleanup Program We completed the site cleanup under the New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program at a former manufactured Gas Plant (mGP) site in Buffalo. Our experience was solicited by utilities and litigators to provide expert advice for the remediation of mGP-related environmental impairment.

Microbiological tools, Georgia We used DNA and cell membrane analysis to demonstrate biological degradation of chlorinated solvents in groundwater at an industrial site in Georgia, helping our client avoid unnecessary active remedial efforts.

Cleaning a former galvanising plant After orders from the courts and Environmental Protection Agency we were asked to remediate a plant in mascot, New South Wales Australia. We worked with the Principal Contractor to remove the most heavily impacted soils, stabilise other soils and recover zinc from site groundwater.

FiFA World Cup Stadium, Cape town We undertook the ground engineering and bulk earthworks for the 68,000 seat Green Point Stadium for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Our solutions enabled a fast-track approach which negated variable ground conditions whilst delivering to tight timescales.
