Handmade crackers will add a real ‘wow’ factor to your festive table –
1
Put a line of glue along the length of one cardboard
tube and place it horizontally in the middle of the paper, close to the long edge nearest to you. Cut the second tube in half then stick both pieces 4cm (1½in) from each end of the full roll, rough-cut ends inward.
Put a gift of your choice like a chocolate or small toy into the whole cardboard tube. Next, run a line of glue along the far long edge of the paper, then roll it up and press along the glue line to fix the wrapping in place.

Place the cracker snap inside the cracker.
Cut the ribbon in half and the memory twine into four equal pieces. Lay two pieces of memory twine over the top of each piece of ribbon. To crease the paper ready for the ribbons, gently push together the adjacent ends of the whole and half tubes. Treating the ribbon and memory twine as one, tie one piece around each end of the cracker in a knot.
