Chocolate slabs These are the perfect gift for any chocoholic!
To make each slab, you’ll need 200g (7oz) of good quality chocolate, gently melted, plus a small 1lb loaf tin lined with cling film, ready for the chocolate to be poured in
Pink peppercorn
When the chocolate is cooling in the tin sprinkle ½-1 teaspoon of lightly crushed pink peppercorns over the surface,
pressing them slightly into the chocolate. Allow to cool before wrapping.
Sour cherry and lavender
Pour the chocolate into the prepared tin and
scatter with 50g (2oz) dried sour cherries and 1½ teaspoons fresh
1 teaspoon of rosewater and 25g (1oz) of roughly chopped dried strawberries. Pour into the prepared tin and sprinkle over the remaining strawberries and 2 teaspoons of dried rose petals. Allow to set before turning out and wrapping.
Candied orange peel
Pour the melted chocolate into the tin. Sprinkle over 50g (2oz) of sliced candied dried orange peel. Press the peel lightly into the surface, allow to set at room temperature before turning out.
