Super glam party hair has never been so easy – whether you’ve got five minutes or 15, here are two luxe looks to try
A bit of a do! HOLLYWOOD HAIR IN 15 MINUTES
YOU WILL NEED: A butterfly clip, styling product, large barrel tongs, wide tooth comb and fixing spray.
TO PREPARE: Dry hair smooth with a paddle brush using a volumising product (see below).
❖ To achieve glamorous curls you’ll need to tong hair in sections – do it in three layers. ❖ Start with the under layer of hair, securing the top layers with a butterfly clip. ❖ Run tongs up and down about an inch width of hair to heat hair shaft. Then pull tongs gently to the ends, enclose the strands then roll up to the scalp. ❖ Wait for five seconds, then open the tongs and slide the curl out. ❖ Curl the under and middle layers. ❖ With the remaining section of hair, part into a side parting and repeat the curling process, but this time only wind the tongs ¾ of the way up the hair, leaving it sleek at the roots. ❖ Allow curls to cool then gently tease and separate each curl with fingers. ❖ Finish with a fixing spray to hold the volume or glitter spray if you fancy some added sparkle.
