Central State University students headed to law school
Great changes are taking place at Central State University, and to see them look no further than the CSU Pre-Law Program.
In existence for only two years, the Pre-Law Program is considered a “model” pre-law program. This year the program developed and assisted six of its participants in gaining acceptance into law school. Their law school letters of acceptance included Ohio State University, Oklahoma City University, Capital University, University of Dayton, Florida International, Thomas Cooley, and University of Cincinnati.
In addition, Central State University offers a Pre-Law Interdisciplinary minor for students interested in pursuing a law degree.
Kent Lollis, Executive Director for the Diversity Initiative Law School Admission Council said, “Those of us in legal education know that students considering legal careers must begin their preparation early, take a wide variety of demanding courses focusing on reading and reasoning skills, and begin the exploration of legal career options. The Central State Program is a model of this skill development.”
