St. Joseph’s Community Foundation Car Raffl e will benefi t Kathy Hospice


T e 2011 car raffl e to benefi t the Kathy Hospice is under way. Sponsored by St. Joseph’s Community Foundation, in partnership with Bob Fish Buick GMC, the raffl e continues to Oct 7. T e grand prize winner will have his or her choice of either a brand new 2012 GMC Acadia, Buick LaCrosse or $20,000 cash. Tickets are $50 each or three for $100.


Located in a quiet setting on the Froedtert Health St. Joseph’s Hospital campus, the Kathy Hospice provides peace and comfort for individuals and families facing the end-of-life journey.


Kentucky Derby Evening a Success


The Foundation’s Impact a Life Event: A Kentucky Derby Evening was held April 28 at the West Bend Mutual Prairie Center. The event raised $57,900 to benefi t the Kraemer Cancer Center and to support the purchase of a computerized physician ordering system for chemotherapy and other cancer drugs for patients.

Raffl e proceeds will benefi t the Kathy Hospice Charitable Gift Fund. T e fund supports the operational needs of the facility, which often are not met by reimbursements from Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance. Gifts to the fund support patient needs, and allow the facility to continue to provide professional and compassionate hospice care for future patients and families.
