Solar power mini-inverter 28

CyboEnergy announced that it will introduce CyboInverter, a solar power Mini-Inverter at the Intersolar exhibition. In a solar power system, solar panels and inverters work together to collect solar energy and convert it into usable electricity. While solar panels have become commodity products, inverters remain a key energy harvest component that has attracted a lot of attention and investment.

CyboSoft Chairman and CyboEnergy CEO Dr. George Cheng said, “We are very excited to introduce a new type of inverter for the solar power industry to help reduce the total product and installation costs. As the solar industry can no longer depend on government incentives, the CyboSoft’s Model-Free Adaptive (MFA) control and optimization technology enabled us to develop the CyboInverter.”

There are two main types of solar power inverters on the market: (i) Centralized Inverters, and (ii) Microinverters. The patent pending CyboInverter is the world’s first Mini-Inverter that possesses the key merits of both Centralized Inverters and Microinverters.

What is more, a CyboInverter overcomes the main shortcomings of both Centralized Inverters and Microinverters with the following benefits:

A CyboInverter has multiple input channels to connect to multiple solar photovoltaic (PV) modules so that the inverter’s per watt cost can be sharply reduced. The device can connect to multiple solar PV modules that may be different in types, sizes, and sunlight orientations. It can also perform Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) on each connected solar module to optimize power production.

New product line

Bentek Solar, which is into Balance of System (BOS) design and manufacturing for commercial and utility scale solar PV products, will debut its new product line for the first time at Intersolar North America.

With Bentek Solar’s new Circuit Breaker Re- Combiners, Circuit Breaker Bi-Polar Re-Combiners, and Circuit Breaker Wall and Roof-top Mount Re- Combiners, there are no fuses to worry about. Bentek Solar Circuit Breaker Re-Combiners provide maximum performance and safety with UL489 breakers. The breaker itself serves as a disconnect, in addition to providing circuit protection. The re-combiners are designed to provide the interface to the inverter with a flexible design for customization and ease of installation.

Bentek Solar’s Multiple Disconnect Safety Systems (MDSS) are designed for large PV solar systems (250KW or greater), and are intended for installation next to the inverter. The new MDSS for 600VDC and 1000VDC solar systems provide customers with multiple UL 600VDC and 1000VDC load-break disconnects respectively, combined into one easy-to-install, safe compact enclosure.

Bentek Solar’s Circuit Breaker Safety Systems (CBSS) are designed for large PV solar systems (250KW or greater), and are intended for installation next to the inverter. The new CBSS for 600VDC and 1000VDC solar systems provide customers with multiple UL 600VDC and 1000VDC load-break circuit breakers respectively, combined into one easy-to-install, safe compact enclosure. This provides circuit protection and individual disconnects, eliminating fuses and complying with NEC disconnect requirements.
