in their hey-day, they are happy. T eir children are established and successful. Toby and Mei own a small retail business they enjoy running and keep each other company whilst looking after each other’s health. T ey often tell me that they are in fact quite rich – rich in the fact that they have a good family, new good friends and a contented lifestyle. A far cry from the time when they were belittled by some, when they had to turn down the few invitations that still came from the few friends they had left because they could not aff ord to bring a bottle or buy a present. And when things became so bad that they sold one car and had to share a small one, those months they literally had to eat bread and instant noodles for dinner. T ey never felt that they were losing out and never kept up with the Joneses. T eir motto – Been there, done that! T ey say that when they leave for the Happy Hunting Grounds one day, they have no regrets except that she would never use thousands of dollars ever again, even if she had the $, to buy that latest Gucci handbag, because the money can do so much more in times of need!
My Conclusion Constantly update your feng shui. If you want good feng shui to last forever, you cannot be lazy. What your consultant has corrected for you today must be maintained by you for the rest of your life. Time, landscape, buildings, changes in situations and the growth (or lack of) of vegetation changes your feng shui constantly. Correcting your feng shui is not a once-off . I have come across many people who demand good feng shui and a good life, but are too lazy to lift a fi nger. T ey are the ones who will not have good feng shui. No one can monitor the situation as well as you can. You have to do so yourself, after all, it is your luck! You don’t have to wait for the year to start before
annual affl ictions hit you. Sometimes they start coming-in around November or December the previous year – kind of like a stain seeping-in or a crawly creeping-in. Aargghh! If your business fails or if hard times fall on you (not unusual in this day and age of world economic crises) do not despair. Take stock of what you have and decide if it is worth saving. Be positive and be harsh. Cut back on everything but do get your priorities right. It does not matter if you are seen in that old junk or that small rented house. Material things are only temporary. T ey can come and go. It’s all in your mind. Take a deep breath, thicken your skin, check out your feng shui, correct it and start over. You can do it! In the next issue, I will bring you the third of my
series of true feng shui stories – activating successfully for babies and for constant Victory Luck!
