When we started The Reunion Network in June 1991, we really did not know what to expect. Three of us, all veterans, were in agreement that:
1) Veterans in general were not getting a fair shake
2) Military reunion planners did not know enough about making reunion arrangements
3) It was well past the time somebody did something about it
This conversation in a small Chinese restaurant in Tampa resulted in forming THE Reunion Network, now re-named Reunion Friendly Network.
From the beginning, our mission was to help the veteran, specifically the reunion planners, do a better job with their reunions. THAT IS STILL OUR MISSION TODAY!
Included in helping the reunion planner is the creation of a marketplace, where the planner has the opportunity to discuss his or her reunion openly and freely with a number of potential locations and hotels for future reunions. THAT IS STILL OUR MISSION TODAY!
The creation and continuation of the Reunion Friendly Network as an organization devoted to helping veterans is the greatest thing WE have ever done. I use the word “WE” because I could never have done it alone. My late wife was a driving force, and surely those who work with us now are among the most

dedicated people I have ever met. We all have military connections, and we continually feel joy in our work because it is our way of expressing our thanks to every one who has ever served in the ranks of the armed forces of our country.
Unlike a few who have attempted to supplant us, all of whom failed, our focus has always been on service, not making money. Indeed, our magazine costing as much as $40,000 per issue has always been free to military reunion planners.

considering the valuable door prizes given to nearly all attendees, offer at least a $1,000 value at a fraction.
Our books are offered at a price close to cost, and far less than equivalent “text books” on other subjects.
Our entire focus is to do our very best for the reunion planner, in whatever way we can. That was our mission when we had that first conversation in the Chinese restaurant twenty years ago. It was our mission then, and

Our services are not static, either. Every year that goes by brings new and hopefully better things to the military reunion planner. Here’s what we’ve done, for example, during the past year-and-a-half.
1) Established a NON-PROFIT foundation (AMRF) to provide reunion groups Federal exempt
status, accounting by a CPA including filing tax returns, free bank accounts, non-profit mailing permits, and sales tax exemptions, where permitted.
2) Made available $4 million, extended liability insurance at a low price.
3) Arranged for inexpensive legal review of hotel contracts
4) Created and conducted the WorkFAM© in contracts.

5) Wrote a special book Ins & Outs of Military Reunion Contracts, which is FREE to WorkFAM©

6) Set up an eleven event ConFAM© WorkFAM©

7) Made more improvements to this magazine, and continued to send it FREE to military reunion planners 8) Set up a ConFAM©

schedule for 2012, with four events already confirmed.
9) Wrote a new RFN Military Reunion Handbook, which will be available soon

11) Created the 20th Birthday Bash as an additional cash benefit, and to give all of you an extra “Thank You.”
