Jangro has expanded its membership, giving it an even greater number of outlets than any other distribution organisation.


Border Janitorial Supplier, of Oswestry Shropshire, has joined Jangro in a move to widen its product range, maintain low prices and expand its customer service offer.


Founded in 1985 by current Managing Director, Colin Filer and his wife Lesley, Border has extensive business in the local authority, contract cleaning, food manufacturing and retailing sectors.


Colin who has always maintained competitive prices said: “Joining Jangro means we can

LCC promotes Rachel


LCC Support Services, the national cleaning and support service contractor has promoted Rachel Hodgson to Sales Director. Rachel, who joined LCC in 2009, has over 6 years experience of the cleaning industry and is heading up the sales team focusing on developing LCC’s commercial portfolio.


LCC provides a full range of cleaning activities including daily cleaning, periodic cleaning and specialist services. Currently LCC handles cleaning in a wide range of markets from offices to education, leisure, retail and industrial premises.

Nilfisk UK has announced UK stockholding to complement the European Distribution Centre in Copenhagen.


With immediate effect, Nilfisk will maintain a local inventory covering fast moving vacuums, floor care machines, spares and accessories which will be available to customers in the UK and Ireland.

This initiative follows on from the N-sure IT project that saw a major investment made in a bespoke call management system that provides real time machine and service status to clients via a web portal. Client machines are fitted with an electronic tag that identifies the machine type, serial number and service history. All engineers carry a handheld PDA device on which they receive their calls and update service information to head office in an instant.
