Flaspöhler Latin America study
Flaspöhler Research Group’s Latin America Reinsurance Survey (Perceptions of Cedants - Life & Nonlife) are held in such high esteem by reinsurers.
W The study, as its name suggests, pools the opinions of hundreds of
cedants throughout the region, giving reinsurers invaluable information on their clients’ needs.
It is not only reinsurers who fi nd this kind of study to be invaluable—when analysts asked the cedants if they had any other comments, a resounding number commented on how great it was to have a study looking at the needs of cedants in the Latin America region.
If there were still any reinsurers that needed convincing, analysts asked
cedants if the information collected in this study provides reinsurers with what they need to improve the way they do business. Some 97.5 and 99.3 percent of respondents said ‘yes’ in the non-life and life studies respectively.
