Secret Fan, a film adaptation of Lisa See’s novel by the same name. Lillian Too also does an in-depth analysis of the Paht Chee destiny charts of Wendi Deng and Rupert Murdoch, with some mind-blowing revelations – read more inside!
We also bring you a feature by Honey Lim on Mahabote Astrology from Burma. Mahabote uses your DAY of birth to determine distinctive traits and characteristics. She also addresses the controversial issue of determining your child’s time of birth using Caesarean method.
How times flies. Already we are heading towards the last quarter of the year. Tis is not a bad thing because the Dragon Year 2012 holds out much promise for recovery and new success. Te year will be transformational in nature, but whether the changes that occur for you personally are for better or for worse will depend on how you ride the mighty WATER DRAGON. Lillian Too’s Feng Shui Extravaganza 2012 addresses this precisely – already she has analyzed the charts for the coming year and she has plenty to talk about – her own forte comes during Dragon years and she cannot wait to share incredible readings on how to make the coming year really work for you.
Extravaganza tickets are now on sale at
www.wofs.com or at MPH bookstores nationwide – those who get them now enjoy substantial Early Bird discounts and other specials. Mainly because the 2012 Roadshow is when World of Feng Shui is celebrating its Zodiac Anniversary. WOFS began operations in 2000 in the Year of the Dragon; 2012 sees us completing a full cycle. So we are planning lots of surprises, goodies and giveaways for the 2012 events, so make a date with Lillian and with us this coming December. It is going to be more special than ever!
Meanwhile YES... Our Fortune and Feng Shui 2012 books are on the shelves now, together with the Feng Shui Almanac and Diary for next year. Tey are available at all leading bookstores and also online at

And in this issue we bring you some truly exciting features. We have lead stories on two very influential Asian ladies married to powerful Western men, China-born Wendi Deng Murdoch, wife of NEWSCORP media mogul Rupert Murdoch, and Malaysian-born Florence Sloan wife of Harry Sloan, ex-MGM-Films Chairman and CEO. Together they produced the highly-acclaimed movie Snow Flower and the
We also have some awesome travel stories to inspire you. Lillian recently led 46 friends and students on a pilgrimage to Burma, accompanied by the incomparable Choden Rinpoche. She gives a firsthand account of this amazing land of several thousand Stupas. Helen Oon introduces Kuching, Malaysia and its amazing Water Dragon. On the other side of the world, Dolly Sidhu analyzes the wrong shui of an idyllic resort in Cayo Coco, Cuba, pointing out some major taboos. Peter Lung takes us to the Forbidden City of Beijing to examine how feng shui was practiced in the old days, while Amelia Neo focuses her feng shui eye on Singapore’s Orchard Road and its latest shopping mall.
My recent polo playing exploits saw Victory Luck manifesting for my teams – 2nd with Lagenda Hookahs in the Merdeka League Tournament in Pekan, Pahang, 2nd in the RSPC 0-goal Division playing with 1 Pahang, and 1st with BP Polo in the 6-goal. As well as playing well and some plain old good luck, maybe the Dragon embossed on our sleeves made a difference. Well, I think so! We were on a tie going into the final day of play and not a great one at that, as we didn’t have a good goal difference to our advantage. But when
we put on our new “Dragon Shirts” for the final day’s play, we regained our lead and won convincingly. Catching up with my polo-playing girlfriend Saskia Karina, I discover a new breed of cat that looks just like the leopard, but in miniature. Saskia introduces me to her Bengals and we share more on this new designer pet inside.
Have a great read, stay safe and find good fortune as we enter the tail end of the Rabbit and get ready to welcome the mighty Dragon! Already we are beginning to feel the Dragon’s energy as it convincingly edges out the mild- mannered Rabbit to exert its awesome influence.
