“Straight from the Nest” CARTRIDGE

Card is 3 x 5 1/2" STRAIGHT FROM THE NEST <IceCream> at 5 1/2" <IceCrm-s> at 5" and 5 3/4" (felt layer) <IceCream>(Layer/Shadow) at 5 3/4"


Patterned paper, chipboard, buttons: Cosmo Cricket; Felt: Craft supply; Jewels: Creative Charms; Sentiment rub on: Imaginisce; Personal electronic cutting machine: Cricut Expression by Provo Craft


1. Cut the shapes listed above from your desired cardstock and/or patterned paper.


2. Adhere the <IceCream>(Shadow) cut to the front of a 3 x 4 1/2" yellow cardstock card base. Trim the card base around the shape of the ice cream.


3. Add the <IceCream> cut to the cone only on the card front.


4. Layer <IceCrm-s> cuts from felt and red floral paper on the card and add three jewels.


5. Add two buttons and a small strip of black felt to the cherry at the top of the ice cream.


6. Apply a sentiment rub on to a strip of red paper, notch one end, and add it below the buttons.


When you want to create a card based on the shape of one of your cuts, simply trace or trim around the shape onto a folded card for quick but delightful results.
