Cardstock: Close To My Heart (green, orange, red, tan), Papertrey Ink (cream, kraft); Patterned paper: BoBunny, My Mind's Eye, The Paper Company; Jewels: me & my BIG ideas; Ink: Close To My Heart (blue, orange, pink, tan), Ranger (distress); Chalk: Pebbles; Glitter: Martha Stewart Crafts; Markers: Copic (orange), Sharpie® (black); Personal electronic cutting machine: Cricut Expression by Provo Craft; Sewing machine: Singer; Thread: Coats & Clark
1. Cut the shapes listed at left from your desired cardstock and/or patterned paper.
2. Trim a 4 1/4” circle from blue paper. 3. Trim a wavy strip from kraft cardstock. Pierce holes around the outside of the circle.
4. Adhere the two <Octopus>(Accessory) cuts to the center and right side.
5. Adhere the three <Fish>(Layer 3)(Shift) cuts and the <Fish>(Accessory) cut along the bottom.
6. Adhere the <Fish>(Shadow) cut to the center of the circle on the card. Ink the edges of the <Fish>(Layer 1) cut and adhere.
7.
Ink the edges of a <Fish>(Layer 3) cut. Fill in the eye and mouth with a black marker and add three jewels to the fish’s back.
8. Ink the edges of the two <Crab>(Accessory) (Shift) cuts and adhere them along the kraft strip below the seaweed.
9.
Ink the edges of the two <Whale>(Accessory) cuts and the <Whale>(Accessory)(Shift) cut, cover them with glitter, and add chalk to the cheeks of the largest starfish cut.
10. Adhere the <Octopus>(Phrase)(Shift) cut to the bottom of the card with foam adhesive.
