Miami (17-8, 3-8 ACC) at the BankUnited Center tonight at 7:00 p.m. The game will air on ESPN with Dan Shulman and Dick Vitale calling the action. Duke posted its fourth straight victory with a 76-55 win over Maryland at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Satur-


day. Senior Jon Scheyer scored a game-high 22 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field, including 3-of-4 from three-point range, and 7-of-8 shooting from the foul line. Brian Zoubek recorded his fourth career double-double with 16 points and a career-high 17 rebounds, including


eight offensive boards. He was 7-of-10 from the field and also added two blocked shots in the win. Duke leads the all-time series against Miami, posting an 11-2 record against the Hurricanes. The Blue Devils


have won 11 of their last 12 contests against the Hurricanes and four of the last five in Miami. Last season, Duke needed overtime to take down Miami in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Scheyer scored 22 points to lead the Blue Devils. Kyle Singler chipped in with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Duke trailed by 13 points at half, but battled back to force overtime and eventually win the game. Singler, who leads the team with 22 double-figure scoring games this season, is attempting to lead the Blue Devils in rebounding for the third straight year. He is averaging 18.2 points per game in the last six contests.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Duke Student-Athlete of the Week


Junior attackman Zach Howell earned this week’s award after leading the second-ranked Blue Devils with four goals and two assists in a season-opening 12-11 overtime win over No. 19 Bucknell. Howell registered the game-winner 15 seconds into the overtime session as Duke rallied to come back for the win. A native of Huntington, N.Y., Howell’s


goal in overtime marked the first time all afternoon that Duke led in the contest. As a sophomore, Howell ranked


eighth on the squad in scoring with 15 points on 11 goals and four assists, and scored his first collegiate goal and assist in his debut against Bucknell (2/16).
