Curves Food Drive H
unger and malnutri- tion are the number one
worldwide risk to health. Today, one in seven people do not have enough food to be healthy and lead an active life. The annual Curves Food Drive is designed to allow the commu-
nity to give back—to help those who are hungry right here in our own neighborhoods. This year, Curves in the United States and Canada hopes to go above and beyond last year's donations. Participate in the 2011 Curves Food Drive, April 1-30,
by bringing in a bag of non-perishables or a $30 donation. Shelter House and The Children’s Neighborhood are recipi- ents of the food collected. Don't forget that the Curves Food Drive is open to non-members as well. Non-members who participate will be able to join with $0 service fee. Readers are encouraged to contribute and help show
how our communities are Stronger Together during the Curves Food Drive. Every contribution makes a difference. In the Ft Walton Beach area, bags and donations can be dropped at Curves of Ocean City, 115-G Racetrack Rd NW, and drop-off boxes are located at neighborhood Curves everywhere.
