SPDI News Trade in, trade up
Owners of Zund flatbed cutters can now apply for a trade-in value against their old cutter when they purchase a new Zund G3 flatbed cutter. Zund also offers to remove the old cutter during the new installation, thus reducing disruption.
Zund UK’s sales director, Peter Giddings, said: “We know that changing or upgrading any large piece of equipment can be a stressful and anxious time for a customer. Anything could go wrong in terms of delivery times, installation problems and issues with staffing and job deadlines. We can take these headaches away and ensure a smooth safe de-commission of your old cutter

with delivery and installation of your new G3 cutter all at the same time with minimal fuss and disruption. Our engineers are used to dealing with all manner of issues and they take this kind of work in their stride.” The new Zund G3 flatbed cutter and router automates cutting and trimming options. In applications requiring the processing of pre-printed graphics, the laser pointer or optional ICC camera aids registration.

MoonShine photo-luminescent inks are now available in the UK. Interest for these plastisol inks ranges from screen printers to event organisers specialising in ‘night’ environments. Company director, Edward Bainbridge, explained: “These new inks use patented technology to offer a range of bright day colours, plus a range of night glows that include, for the first time, orange, pink, purple and yellow as well as traditional greens and blues. Furthermore, these inks have been developed using ‘safety product’ technology so the glow lasts all night. “The inks are well proven. We have been working with Obey for the last year and their successful range of glow-in-the-dark tee shirts use our inks. A number of other high profile California-based brands have started work on ranges featuring these inks.”
