Wide format inkjet printer and cutting plotter manufacturer, Mutoh, will display its latest large format digital solutions for commercial print, sign and soft sign applications. These include the MS Ultra inks designed to increase productivity, Bio-Lactite inks for environmentally conscious print providers and a new set of UV inks for 3D wrapping. Sublimation and direct textile printing will also feature, as well as the Kona cutting plotter series for sign cutting. Developed for 3D wrapping applications on curved, riveted or corrugated surfaces, Mutoh's 3D UV inks will première at the show. Immediately dry and ready for lamination and application, the new stretchable 3D UV ink boast 200 per cent elongation capabilities. Printing on rigid substrates is also possible. The zero VOC 3D UV ink has been tuned to Mutoh’s Zephyr UV 1,651mm wide digital UV inkjet printer.
Mutoh’s Bio-Lactite ink will enable print providers to reduce the environmental footprint of their daily production. The inks are 50 per cent from corn, a renewable organic resource and they will not release any harmful VOCs in the working environment. They are particularly suited for print providers demanding 'green output' on recyclable media or for exotic media not typically intended for inkjet printing.

Manufacturer of cutting tool solutions for the sign industry, ITC Tooling, will have an array of cutters available for all types of routing and engraving operations.
Among the exhibits will be ITC's range of Clearcut single flute routing cutters for the sign making industry, which has been extended to incorporate three stub-cut additions designed to improve rigidity and surface finish.
Clearcut solid carbide single flute routers are already said to provide a good surface finish on perspex and acrylic materials as well as Foamex and similar materials. They can reduce or even eliminate flame polishing and hand finishing operations. They are currently available in three, four, five and six millimetre diameters with each diameter having a variety of cutting lengths available. Despite the reduced length of cut, the new additions reduce vibration, improving surface finish. Other cutting tools will include the 2091 compression tool, ideal for laminated materials, the 2021 Di-bond folding tool, the 180-10-LG for thick acrylics, the DCO3 for stainless steel, the ENG engravers and the 3D-90 series for prismatic engraving.
