More green solutions from TowerLight

Occupying a significant proportion of TowerLight UK’s stand was the Wash Rack from parent TowerLight srl’s DF Ecology division, which specialises in environmentally friendly construction site equipment. The modular product enables wash bays to be constructed to the required size, with a total loading capacity of 1.5 tonne.

Dirty water is pumped into a filter tank at the rear which removes debris and slurry, and separates oil, grease and other light fractions of petroleum products for disposal later. TowerLight believes the Wash Rack will appeal to hirers for use in their own service stations, as well as for hire to contractors. Also on show was the new Mini Dust-Fighter, a compact and electrically powered version of the existing site dust suppression unit, which can be used indoors. The integral pump produces a very fine mist of water that captures airborne particles. The outlet head can be tilted and the spray angle of the nozzles can be adjusted.

The Show line-up also included the VB9 lighting tower, which was a finalist in the Innovation Zone. It is designed to run for more than 340 hours on a tank of fuel, and gives a light coverage of 3600m2

at an average of 20 Lux.
