Winemaking The grapes were picked at optimum maturity with an average sugar of 25.8 Balling. The varieties were vinified separately between 24 -28 degrees Celsius using the pump over and 'delastage' methods for color extraction. The wines were allowed to undergo malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and were blended prior to bottling. The blend consists of 50% Merlot and 50% Pinotage. Unoaked
Tasting notes Deep ruby red color, nose of red berry and blackcurrant fruit with a hint of liquorice. Round, smooth entrance on the palate with ripe tannins and balanced acidity with red berry in mouth flavors and a persistent finish
