The Cleaning Show has finally arrived and there is certainly a buzz in the air. This is undoubtedly the place to be for the latest industry innovations and news, so if you haven’t already, make sure you register now and visit, even if just for a day.

Despite only being known as The Cleaning Show since 1995, this well-known exhibition has over 40 years of experience behind it and an established reputation. The show, organised on behalf of the cleaning industry by BCCE Ltd, a company jointly owned by the British Cleaning Council and Quartz Publishing & Exhibitions Ltd, promises to be bigger and better than ever this year and I for one am looking forward to finding out about all of the new and exciting products and reporting back to you all in our April issue.

What can we expect? The show organisers have reported an additional 70 first-time exhibitors this year, taking the overall number to around 180 exhibitors in total. But this isn’t all; The Cleaning Show also hosts its very own Innovation Awards honouring the latest products and innovations that the industry has to offer, covering:

• Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Products/Services

• Chemicals and Dosing Systems • Eco/Green Products

• Floor Cleaning Machines (indoors)

• Floor Cleaning Machines (outdoors)

• Food Hygiene Products/Services • Healthcare Products/Services

• Pressure Washers/Graffiti Removal Products/Services

• Retail Cleaning Products/Services • Washroom Products/Services • Window Cleaning Products/Services

The finalists will then be judged at the show and awards will be given to the 11 category winners and one overall winner.

This year’s show also introduces a new Green Zone. Designed with visitors in mind after the 2009 show’s exit survey revealed that green products are a major area of interest, the Green Zone will comprise of a number of products
