Set Your Own Power Lunch


Identify 5 wedding venues or professionals who attract the kind of clients you want to work with.


If you can, get an introduction from a friend or associate.


Call them up and invite them to a Power Lunch date. Contact all five with the goal of setting a meeting with at least one of them.


Pay for lunch, ask for their advice and help them in return in whatever way you can.


Afterward, keep the relationship going. Be a friend to them, send them thank you notes and emails. Build on what you’ve started.


Powerful marketing doesn’t have to be expensive, complicated or time-consuming. In fact, some of the best strategies are just like this one: simple and cheap. One simple lunch date can release a flood of referrals for your wedding business.
