We are so excited to bring you our inaugural issue of WedBiz Journal, our wedding vendor companion to WED the Magazine.

My vision in bringing you this new digital magazine was to create a publication for the wedding industry by the wedding industry. Each of our writers is either a wedding vendor or a respected industry professional, selected to help you with your wedding business.

We’ll start each issue with “By the Numbers,” a statistical perspective brought to you by Shane McMurray of The Wedding Report. You’ll also find regular columns by Natalie Bradley of Bride Attraction, Dina Eisenberg of PositivelyWed and Stephanie Padovani of Book More Brides.

“Under the Influence” looks at the Top Ten most influential of the wedding industry. Also in this issue, Wedding Photographer and IT support specialist Rene Garcia of BluMoon Solutions takes a look at the best ways to Back-up your computer and his wife Astrid presents their website makeover (and they will provide an opportunity for review of yours in future issues!).

In each issue we’ll have an interview with a wedding industry celebrity. Our inaugural issue brings you our interview with the Grande Dame of Cakes—Sylvia Weinstock. We also present our interview with WED’s Great Cake-off winner and The Next Great Baker, Dana Herbert. And also in each issue we’ll profile an industry association (NAWP in this issue) and a wedding industry conference (engage! in this issue).

We hope you enjoy our magazine – it was infused with love! I’d love to hear what you think, or if you have ideas for articles you’d like to see, write to me at editor@wedbizmedia.com.

Happy Reading! Kelly Kelly Werder
