What about those companies/brands that go beyond weddings? Yes, we thought about them too. But it was too hard to figure out the wedding portion (but you should be following):
@tlc: Over 34k followers and more than 440k fans on Facebook. Klout score—an impressive 69.
@wetv: Newer to twitter with only 12k followers but over 37k fans on Facebook. Klout score—also an impressive 69.
AND Where’s @CarleyRoney? The substantive tweeting seems to come from @theknot (our #1). Also, Stacie Francombe, formerly of Get Married, carries a strong social media presence but has just resigned her post. Since we’re not sure she’s staying with weddings, we didn’t add her to this list. But we’re following!
Could have been Top 10:
There were a few that could have been on our Top Ten BUT we could not find a Facebook presence for them — no page, no app. Here are the Twitter Stars who would have made the Top 10 but for a Facebook Page.
We also looked at who is influencing wedding vendors. For this list, we tried to identify who vendors were retweeting and sharing. Again, we used the same methodology but also took into account factors such as speaking engagements. Think we missed someone? Be sure they met all criteria—then post your suggestion in our WedBiz Journal Facebook page discussion.
T
Bridal Tweet’s own network has over 11k members with its own Retweet forum. With over 18k followers on Twitter and almost 6000 fans, and Christine Dyer’s regular marketing tips via email, it was an easy #1.
With the highest Klout score on this list (67), Wedding Market is a twitter star. Still growing its own network and solidifying a Facebook presence, Wedding Market is a force to watch.
And on the east coast, Think Splendid’s Liene Stevens holds the PR title with almost 8000 followers on Twitter and over 8000 tweets. Her 57 Klout score puts her in this impressive Top 5.
The Wedding Report is the foremost authority on industry statistics and as such commands quite a following. With over 6500 followers and over 2300 fans, @weddingreport is a necessary follow.
Between @nataliebradley and
@brideattraction, Natalie Bradley reaches over 5000 followers and has thousands of friends and fans on Facebook. Her social networking has moved her quickly to this list.

Paul Pannone, the force behind eWedNews, has a following of over 10k, over 25k tweets and a daily newsletter going to thousands of vendors. With an impressive 60 Klout score, it’s obvious Paul is commonly Retweeted.
Wedding PR’s Leila Kahlil is undoubtedly the top PR exec for the wedding industry on the west coast. With over 10k following on Twitter and over 3000 fans on Facebook, she is certainly using her PR knowledge for good.
Beyond her 6000+ followers on Twitter, Re- becca Grinnals’ influence is not only in how many are following but who is following and retweeting. Her engage!10 conference saw Twitter impressions reach over 2.5 million!
Andy Ebon, The Wedding Marketing Authori- ty’s biggest influence comes from some amazing speaking gigs—including keynote at Wedding MBA. And a Klout score of 50 doesn’t hurt either.`
Why is Wedding Wire’s Sonny Ganguly only #10 on this list? A low Klout score of 39 that we really can’t figure out. But with over 21k followers and more speaking engagements than anyone, we had to put him on the list.
