Beginning Spanish I (SPAN 101) An introduction to the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking cultures, with emphasis on the development of communicative skills and grammatical structures. Language laboratory practice is a mandatory component of the course.
Though no prior knowledge of Spanish is assumed, to promote language acquisition this course is conducted in Spanish. CSUSM matriculated students must register using PeopleSoft via MyCSUSM.
