And as a company grows, different demands are placed upon every functional group and system the company uses. Change is inevitable, and a process must be in place to manage it.

This class will teach how to align resources with the Strategic Plan, configure Operating Processes to support the Strategic Plan, and implement Process Change. Additionally, the relationship between existing and emerging processes and technologies, Manufacturing Strategy, and Supply Chain-related functions will be explored. Primary focus will be on three main topics: 1) Aligning Resources with the Strategic Plan, 2) Configuring and Integrating Operating Processes to Support the Strategic Plan, and 3) Implementing Change. Project Management Fundamentals will be covered, as well as Organizational Structure, Technology Evaluation Criteria, Competitive Environment Scanning, Performance Objectives, Leadership Hierarchies, Product Life Cycle, and Product & Service Development.
