I apply Glad Press and Seal (available at a supermarket near you) to mask the flames and than cut out around the flames. This enables me to add a nice clean drop shadow and is well worth the extra time it takes to accomplish as it will set your work apart from other custom painters work.


Using my Iwata SB and staying back away from the surface sev- eral inches I spray a drop shadow along the bottom of the flame.


This is how it should look after the drop shadow has been applied. I remove the Press and Seal and wipe the entire surface down with pre-cleaner to remove any residue left from the Press and Seal.I have never taken the time to learn “How To” pinstripe, with


one of the best in the business right down the street, Bob Iverson, Hunting Beach , Ca., I see no need to learn at this point. All my pin striping work goes to Bob; for over 30 years Bob has been pulling laser straight lines, one of the best in the business.
