3. Next we start by lightly adding transparent yellow to the darker areas of the body and wheels, also to show a horizon line reflection on the car body. I’ll also use this color to start showing the back lighting effect.


4. After the yellow, I use transparent orange to add some more depth and shading to the darker areas and add to the back lighting effect. You can faintly see a large “502” number in the background, as requested by the customer, we will emphasize this more in a minute.


5. Next I use some transparent blue to darken oth- er areas of the car, and add color to the chrome. I used the blue to sketch in the hood stripe as well.
