TIM BERGLING, aka Avicii (aka in turn Tim Berg), is generating plenty of hype at the moment, no doubt helped by the current popularity of all things Swedish.


Having remixed huge pop and trance acts including Dizzee Rascal, Little Boots, David Guetta, Robyn and Tiesto, Tim spent the summer as resident at the latter’s weekly event at Privilege, Ibiza, the world’s biggest club, as well as joining him for his one-off party at Victoria Park, London.


A new vocal version of ‘Bromance’, out now on Ministry of Sound, is exactly the kind of trause (trance/house hybrid) that his chart suggests, tapping into the crowd friendly sound that’s smashing the clubs the world over.


The Directors Cut of the video might walk the borderline between casual misogyny and homoerotica, but given that it’s had almost 2 million YouTube views, the love for Avicii just seems to be growing.
