variety of trails to suit everyone. As well as riding, you can choose from a variety of other activities including nature hikes, mountain biking, pampering in the spa, swimming and tennis.
The ranch Located in picturesque Coronado National Forest, Tanque Verde Ranch is set in 60,000 acres and offers a wide variety of terrain to explore. Founded in the 1880s as a working cattle ranch, it became a dude, or guest ranch in the 1920s, welcoming guests with a range of activities and offering beautiful desert and mountain views. Being a resort ranch, Tanque Verde offers an extensive range of activities, so it’s particularly well suited for those who want to ride but also want the option of doing other things. There are 3 swimming pools (indoor, outdoor and children’s wading pool) as well as a large jacuzzi and saunas in which to relax after a ride. The ranch offers a programme specifically for children 4-11 years.
Getting to the ranch
The Tanque Verde Ranch is located approx 20-30 min from Tucson International airport. Why not make getting there even easier and take a flight into Tucson from either Las Vegas, San Francisco or Los Angeles?
