The three-day event was highlighted by an overview of new technologies and a presentation on the economic outlook for the coming year. Also on the agenda were technical and management sessions. Group’s annual conference also kicked off on Thursday. Its event at the Hyatt Regency featured sessions on labor relations, lean manufactur- ing, production, management, and technology. The Group was estab- lished as a non-profit organization in 1975 and chose to co-locate with GRAPH EXPO 2010 due to the debut of the News Print Pavilion. The Imaging Network Group held its 2010 Workshop on Saturday at the Swissotel. Workshop topics included the future of transactional and direct mail, healthcare reform, social media, and a keynote by industry “guru” Frank Romano. ING which focuses on variable-imaging digital printing, closed the event with a workshop and dinner. The Muller Martini Users Group held its “Improvement through Innovation” Conference at McCor- mick Place. It included sessions on accessories and upgrades, preven- tive maintenance, maximizing effi- ciencies, and set-up and run-ability. There also were sessions on custom- er feedback and “ask the experts.” Last, but certainly far from least,
