With the unique ability to print on glossy coated stock, the high-speed, full-color Prosper 5000XL Press (shown right) produces image qual- ity approaching up to 175 line screen (lpi). Driven by unmatched Kodak Stream Inkjet Technology, the Pros- per 5000XL Press optimizes supply chain efficiencies for book publish- ers, achieves enhanced productivity at lower costs for commercial printers, and dramatically increases the effec- tiveness of direct mail, catalogs and inserts for marketers.
To the next level The new Kodak NexPress SX digital production color platform with Print Genius takes the color quality, produc- tivity, performance and reliability of NexPress presses to the next level for commercial, photo, in-plant and data-
driven printers. The NexPress SX platform deliv- ers longer cut sheet capability up to 26", faster speed, higher line screens, and
light black dry ink through the Kodak fifth imaging unit. Applications pos- sible with the longer sheet include six- page brochures, posters, dust jackets for books and a variety of labels. The Kodak Prosper S10 Imprinting System with process color capability, which enables in-line hybrid print- ing applications such as direct mail, catalogs and other custom publishing materials, is being shown for the first time in the U.S. GRAPH EXPO also marks the launch of Kodak proofing software version 5.0 for the Kodak MatchPrint inkjet proofing system, as well as the new Kodak MarketMover Business Advantage Solutions, which offers a range of consulting services and business solutions through a team of Kodak consultants, operation spe- cialists, developers and engineers.
