DEAlliance+IPA, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to develop- ing standards and best practices across the digital media supply chain, is holding its G7 Summit 2010 in conjunction with GRAPH EXPO 2010. G7, a subgroup within IDEAlliance, is the industry-leading set of best prac- tices for achieving gray balance and is the driving force behind achieving visu- al similarity across every print process, every time. Presented live from McCor- mick Place for the duration of GRAPH EXPO, the G7 Summit is a must-attend event for creative, design, premedia and print production professionals. It focus- es on the entire workflow, covering all facets of print production, from content creation to final output. In-depth edu- cational sessions, conducted by lead- ing color and digital workflow experts, explore the G7 calibration process and how it compliments today’s digital workflow. Participating manufacturers are offering hands-on Learning Labs to supplement each session.
“Our decision to bring the IDEAl- liance G7 Summit to GRAPH EXPO was simple: It’s the right thing do in this economy. It offers people who want to come to both GRAPH EXPO and the G7 Summit an affordable way
to maximize their investment and double their benefit,” says Joe Fazzi, VP Print Media at IDEAlliance+IPA. “Creatives, publishers and commer- cial printers all have the same need, to find ways to integrate their digital workflow for an efficient production process. It’s why they come to GRAPH EXPO—and why IDEAlliance will be here to provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for the information they need now.”
The full spectrum
“Graphic communications profes- sionals count on GRAPH EXPO to showcase new technologies, informa- tion and education across the full spec- trum of the print production process,” says Ralph Nappi, President of the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC). “With industry technology evolv- ing—and clients placing ever more demands on their graphic communica- tions service providers—it’s become all the more crucial for print production professionals to understand just which technologies and processes they’ll need to ensure a quality product for their clients every time. With the G7 Summit being co-located with GRAPH EXPO, we’re able to offer the guidance attend- ees are seeking to be successful in the
