Dare Devil Dive
Gerstlauer has really struck gold with its EuroFighter coaster concept. Opening next season at Six Flags Over Georgia, Austell, Georgia, Dare Devil Dive is yet another version of the vertical lift, vertical drop rollercoaster from the German manufacturer. Featuring a 10-storey-tall lift, the ride will be the only one of its kind in the US with a “pause” before the first drop. After an agonising wait at the crest of the summit, the coaster car plummets downward through a 97-degree
angle at 52mph. The ride then careens through a thrilling combination of diving loops while executing three inversions before riders catch air on a zero gravity hill and swoop across the dreaded Immelmann vertical U-turn stretched high above the ground. The crescendo builds as the car dives toward the ground and up into a heartline roll before being slowed by the magnetic brakes. Dare Devil Dive is scheduled to open on May 29 and will be Six Flags Over Georgia’s 11th coaster.
SeaWorld does Halloween
Halloween meets the sea during SeaWorld Orlando's Halloween Spooktacular, running weekends throughout October. Children can trick-or-treat, meet amazing sea creatures, catch silly and spooky shows or help Sesame Street's Abby Cadabby through an adventure to find her magic wand in the Halloween Adventure maze.

Work tastes sweet for P&P
P&P Project Development has been selected to develop a children's visitor centre for the Ukrainian confectionary company Roshen. Located alongside one the firm's plants in the city of Vinnitsa, the attraction will be pitched at school groups. The experience is a combination of fun entertainment and education, with puzzles to solve and games to play as children learn about chocolate. Spread across six themed rooms, they must work as a team to find the secret combination that opens the door to the next room. Finally they enter into a 3D theatre to reveal a candy vault and collect their prize. Roshen also has plans for a big visitor centre in Kiev, for which P&P is also working in designs. Responsible for attraction concept and design, P&P Development is an offshoot of P&P Projects, which produces theming, props and technology. The Dutch firm is also responsible for the scenic production of two major attractions at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, opening later this month, as well as various contracts for Merlin Entertainments including the new Legoland
Discovery Center in Dallas, Texas.
