HAI (HAI), a joint venture company between Huttenes Albertus (HA) and Hexion Specialty Chemical Company, serves the North American foundry industry as the largest supplier of products for core/mold production. HAI offers North American foundries the most com- prehensive range of products supported in three market segments: Resin Systems for bonding sand; Resin Coated Sand (RCS) for the shell process; and Refractory Coatings.


The Resins Product Manager will lead the organization with product line contributions for the resins business, from increasing the profitability of the resin product line to developing new products. The Product Manager will work with all areas of the organization to define product release requirements. He/she will work with marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, helping to communicate the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers. He/she will also serve as the internal voice for resins, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers. 3+ years of marketing and/or product management experience a plus.


The Sand Product Manager will provide technical service, customer audits, analysis and trials of HAI products within customer facilities. Additional duties may include the introduction and support of products produced by other companies and represented by HAI (i.e. Chromite Sand, Insulating Sleeves, etc.) Successful candidates will have a degree in Metallurgy and at least 2-3 years of Metallurgical work in an industrial environment.

Job Summary


This position’s accountability is to plan and supervise the repair shift in making repairs and preven- tive maintenance on all foundry equipment, machining equipment and production related equipment and also to ensure proper operation of the plant through supervision of clean-up activities and 5S. Direct the second and third shift work force to a 100 % uptime goal and zero percent lost time accident record. Support other department objectives and contribute to the overall profitability of the corporation.


Requirements


Qualifications include high school graduate or equivalent, minimum of 2 year technical degree or department of labor journeyman card, minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, minimum of 4 years industrial experience, demonstrate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and troubleshooting experience, foundry experience a plus.
