U.K., will be instructing a casting filling and feeding workshop Nov. 3 at the Cast Metals Institute (CMI), located at AFS Head- quarters, Schaumburg, Ill. The world-renowned and respected metalcasting author and researcher will present a one-day workshop focus-
ing on the reduction of entrainment defects and the structure and properties of castings, drawing attention to the latest concepts regarding the filling and feed- ing of castings and ways to use the techniques in the metalcasting facility to reduce scrap, raise quality and reduce costs. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own problem castings, which will be examined as part of class exercises. In addition, Campbell has worked with AFS to pub-
